Kirkbride Event Report 27/06/09 & 28/06/09

The 2009 British Tractor pulling season opening round was held at Kirkbride, the weather conditions were geat and once the track was prepared the pulling began.

Scottish Pullers had a good event Saturday (BTPA Points Class) with AK1 taking first place in the super farm class with Vital Spark in second spot. In the under 401 prostock class True Bule was as close second to Skipper with Scotch Mist in third place. In the Prostock class Pist N' Broke had a good run but the clutch didn't let Eck get the rev's up enough on the line.

Sunday again saw a good days pulling with Solway Spirt taking fist place with AK1 second and Vital Spark 3rd, in the under 401 class the results mirrored the previous evening with True Blue and Scotch Mist on the podium for the second day in a row. Having adjusted his clutch before the pull Eck had a fantastic run taking second place with Rough Justice taking the win by 5m.
