Gt Eccleston Event Report 18/07/09 & 19/07/09

The second event of the 2009 British Tractor pulling season was held at Gt Eccleston show.

True Blue's performance at Gt Eccy was a bit disapointing after swinging heavily to the right and going out of bounds early on. Scotch Mist went well and seemed to be well balanced with the new weight frame on the front, taking 2nd. Smokey 2 looked to have problems with the diff and struggled to get away from the line after 2 attempts, but managed to take 4th. DieselRoss ran well for only its second pull with Ewans cousin Will Mitchell driving for the first time, managing 2nd place. Eck had problems keeping the boost up coming off the line, at his 2nd attempt he just had to go with it and was dragged down early, but still managed to get 4th.br>
